Ok...well, my mother has recently had a traumatic experiance that she just told me about.
As much as I knew: My mom finally got a facebook and found a bunch of people who she used to go to school with. She managed to find one guy (who we shall call Mr. X) that not only did she used to go to school with but he also played World of Warcraft (WoW) and lived in Auburn. They went on a couple of dates and he got real possisive of my mom real fast. He even wanted her to dye her hair blond. WTF is with that??? Well anyway, when my mom broke up with him, he began to stalk her. I don't mean in the since that he sent her creepy e-mails and texts. I mean he FOLLOWED her around. He would be at Wal*Mart or at the same resteraunt, sometimes at the library. After mom and I moved he seemed to stop following her, and when he started again, my mom got a restraining order. That was good.
What I just learned: Apparently, on Saturday night Mr. X shows up outta no where at our house (I was at my grandma's) with a baseball bat, A FUCKING BASEBALL BAT! He hit my mom over the head and she got a cuncussion....but then he picked up her phone (she had been txting her friend in California) and Mr. X began txting him, infuriated that he was 'with' his girl (my mom). One of our neighbors called the cops and the came and arrested Mr. X (he's in jail now for assult, stalking, and violating a restraining order...he'll be there for a while). My mom spent the rest of the night in th ER as Jane Doe until she woke up Sunday.
Yeah, I'm as surprised as you! All I know is that if I ever meet this bastard is that they won't have to call the cops on him...they'll call a ambulance. And he won't wake up the next day...
Stalking is serious people. Don't joke about it... Thanks for letting me rant and thanks even more if you read my rant.
